We responsibly manage the entire recycling process and start by making cars available at our Pick A Part yard for used auto parts. Get Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) parts.

Here's How The Junk Car Recycling Process Works

  1. Bring in your End of Life Vehicle (ELV)  to either of our processing centers at 25 ByPass or Wingert Road.  We will pick up vehicles in a 20 mile radius for FREE. We pick up in a 21-25 miles for $50. Over 25 miles bring it to us.  If you have a fleet to retire call us.
  2. We process through SecuRecycle and manage all documentation and legal requirements to ensure smooth recycling.
  3. We’ll pay you for the car and start the recycling process.
  4. We process the car fluids, batteries, etc.
  5. We sit the car at C&C Pick A Part’s pull yard. Get OEM parts for your car!
  6. Once it leaves the Pick A Part the vehicle is further processed separating every part of recyclables.
  7. The car is shredded and separated into small pieces.
  8. Lightweight parts, such as plastics, are removed along a conveyor belt and removed under a vacuum.
  9. The metal remains are separated into ferrous and non-ferrous metals via a magnet.
  10. The metal content is recovered for recycling and sent by train or truck to the best mill for processing.
  11. Your end of life vehicle becomes something new, saving our natural resources. Thanks for choosing recycling.
